I have been detecting for almost 30 years and still go back to the Eagle
2.I dont like the 5 touch pads on the XLT or DFX.I much prefer the 14 touch
pads on the Eagle 2 and easer to set the adjustments than having to go
through a menu to get to each setting.I make a decale on the bottom of the
box that tells all the pads do when trigger is pulled or Edit is
pressed.Makes it simple. If the Eagle would come out today it would soon be
no#1 in sales.Sometimes newer isn't better. :>)

I bought my Eagle II SL last year off eBay and have "really" enjoyed it. I
use it much more than my MXT. It's really an amazing detector. Ron, Tampa,

must be rated i think as one of the best detectors whites ever made.
certainly a better detector then the xlt is. i had the xlt about 5 years
ago compared to the eagle there just is no competion. i only kept it a
couple of years. but still have the eagle sl90 i bought second hand about
12 years ago. and in constant use with many many finds to its credit.
