Among the best!
If you want something easy to use and good quality, I would highly recommend this pinpointer. Somewhat similar to the Garrett ProPointer, it has auto tune with no knobs to fool with. One of the features that I really like is that the LED flashlight turns off automatically during daylight hours and turns on in the dark, which saves your battery power.

The only thing that I don't like is the switch, which is not water proof like the Garrett PinPointer and could use some improvement. That's why I only gave it 4 stars for durability. Other than that, I am truly satisfied with this pinpointer. I also did the air test like on the video shown by Kellyco and sure enough, it started beeping at about 2" on a quarter. All I can say is go to Kellyco website and watch the video and judge for yourself. I've also seen it for sale on eBay.

Jedi precision pointer. hehe
The Automax v4 is a most clutzy pinpointer. It is long and extremely awkward as well as an un balanced device. If you carry it and have long arms you'll be able to draw it from your belt. A lengthy rigid round shaft of almost 12 inches topped with a housing for the controls, speaker, battery housing. Then another 5 inch long handle.
Overall a device that June could fend off Darth Vader in a pinch. If you can get this ungainly thing into the hole where you are seeking the coin target it's length is difficult to deal with. Your trying to pinpoint with nearly two feet of pinpointer. The electronics are less than sensitive and you will need to zero it out before use.
The battery condition causes a drift so a fresh nine volt is a must. You can select speaker or vibrate dor indication, not both. When set up you might getneed to get within an inch of the search object before thus things will chime off of vibrate. Sensitivity sucks!

I think this thing needs a major redesign and shrinking. The circuit is mediocre and I never use mine.
