About MDR

This website was created for newcomers to the metal detecting hobby to help them make a better decision when buying their first detector. Also, treasure hunters, that have been in the hobby for quite some time, can find useful information when newer models come out each year.

Writing your honest opinion about a certain detector, will benefit all of us in the long run. It will help us to pick the right tool for the right job, and hopefully the manufacturers will listen to the suggestions in our reviews, and will develop a better product.

If you already have some experience with a certain machine, please spend a few minutes and write a few lines about the detector you're using.

We are not trying to favor or side with any particular product or company.

If you have a question or comment, please contact us.
