I was very surprised with the depth this machine has. And the ID is right on, has a great pin point feature that is nice for finding your target. Great Machine at a great price.

Fantastic Detector!

Chris in Houston, Tx - best
I recently purchased a Titan 3000XD. This is the easiest detector to use and has many of the benefits of the more expensive detectors. Just reading and following the steps setforth in the manual, a beginner can use it, with a little practice, almost immediately. I would recommend this detector to beginner and professional alike.

This is a great little unit! Goes deep, accurate discrimination and tone ID and lightweight. Highly recommended for the beginner and veteran alike.

What a detector

Rick Wilson in Ohio - best
I have been in metal detecting for nearly 20 years now and not since my Compass Judge 2 have I been so pleased with a machine. The first day I had it out I found a 1913 Mercury dime. Something my Compass never did. I think I'm gonna love this detector. With the Indicator there a lot less digging and more treasure finding

Getting Started

Brian Morrison in Fayetteville, North Carolina - best
My Titan 3000 works well, however, I get so confused when I run across something that gives me readings from (for an example) 67 to 147.
I don't know if it is trash or good stuff.
Sometimes I pick up something during a right scan, but when I run back across it on my left scan is does not pick it up. It seems to dissapear. I guess I've got a lot of studing to do. If someone can help me understand that would be great. brianm1@earthlink.net

Novice Hunter uses 3000 XD

Joe in PA - good
I am new to the detecting process, I bought the Titan 3000 XD when it was recommended by the company that I contacted. I have had success with it locating coins, I also found two rings. The only problem that have is not being able to adjust the ground balance on this machine. I have followed all of the directions and still cannot use it to point point the target.
