Wow, Great deal!
January 31, 2008
I just received my Ultraluxe pinpointer. So far I tested it in my
house-works fine. I yet have to see how it does in the field. For the
price of just under $50.00 (including shipping) it was well worth the
price. I even got 5 gold coins included with it. The Item was packaged
well and received it very fast. A pleasure doing business with them!
Thanks Henry!

Well worth 39.95
September 24, 2006
I bought one direct from the factory at closeout price $39.95. Works very
well to sift through soil to find your target. It also works well to jab
into the ground if soil is wet or loose. The only thing i would like better
is that the probe itself is a little to thick would be nice if end was like
the roundness of a phillips screwdriver. Battery life is very good. Detects
all metals. Recomended.

Some issues, but a valuable tool overall
April 24, 2006
My first Tinytec was bought in the late 1990's. The penlight quit working
after only about two weeks, but that was no big loss since it was quite
wimpy and wouldn't even illuminate to the end of the shaft. The newer
models with improved (LED?) light seem to have solved this problem. I
think sand got into the switch of my old one, maybe. I used that original
Tinytec for many years and it was a terrific purchase. It helped me locate
my most valuable find, a very rare US Light Dragoons beltplate from the War
of 1812, which was about a foot deep and buried six inches below a more
modern rifle cartridge. The newer Tinytec I got for the $39.95 closeout (a real bargain!) has performed well so far, with one exception: the beep has gotten almost too quiet to hear. Maybe I need to change the batteries, but this worries me- my old one did this before it finally quit. One concern is that sand gets into the unit fairly easily. I don't use it on the beach, but we have sandy soil here.
Overall, I have been pleased with the Tinytec and found it to be a good value for the money (a fantastic value if you can get one of the closeout models!) Despite a few minor concerns, this purchase was money well spent.

This probe is the greatest
March 23, 2005
This is a very neat little probe . saves you hours of useless digging after
you've dug your target and cant seem to find it in the pile of dirt. I own
2 of them and also an automax ,now I know why some companys offer a free
automax when you buy a detector. enough said.
