I love my whites
February 15, 2006
im a total beginner but it was a snap!got my prizm3 for christmas & didnt
get to use it much untill new years weekend.on that weekend i went to dewey
beach delaware.no sooner did i step onto the beach i started to find
bullets.thankfully my grandfather was there to clear up why.around the time
of the second world war the deleware area was used for training.dummy
planes were towed along the shore & shot at.so presto ...we have bullets.i
was also told if your really lucky you will find the casings as well. 30 &
50 caliber.huge! good luck to all,& head to dewey!it was awesome for my
first weekend of detecting.found 15 in all & a sterling silver ring also $6.00 in change!so i would have to say the prizm 3 is a good buy!

I WENT TO MYRTLE BEACH S.C.LAST WEEK,I DIDN'T HAVE BUT 1 DAY TO HUNT SO I
HAD AT IT.THE PRIZM III FOUND LOTS OF COINS & TABS & A OLD BULLET.BUT WHILE
HUNTING I MET ANOTHER HUNTER.HE HAD A FISHER 1270.FUNNY THING,I WENT BEHIND
HIM HUNTING AFTER HE LEFT,I FOUND QUITE A FEW COINS,I WASN'T SURE IF HIS
DETECTOR WAS WORKING PROPERLY,BUT IT SURE MADE ME FEEL A LOT BETTER ABOUT
MY DETECTOR.I THINK I HAVE A WINNER!!!

I bought the Prism III because I do want to
know the depth but I didn't feel it was worth $100.00 more for the Prism IV
for the notch out and different
tones. Notch out the pull tabs and you may miss a ring. Overall Rating

Great machine, but a prizm 2 is a much better machine for the money, not
unless you want to pay $100 for depth readout.Thats the only difference
between them.
