Xp deus
You should look into buying one if you haven't yet. I really like the ease of use once you get through reading the manual. Read the manual! It explains things in depth. I used to own a Bounty Hunter Pioneer which was great for coinshooting. The louder the pitch on the Deus the closer you are to your target. I love it. Last night I found an old shoe buckle and around a dollar in coins in about an hour. Get this detector! I work on a campground and detect in the evening. The campground used to be a junkyard. I am finding coins and very little junk. I also have hunted in ground with high iron content with no trouble. Again read the manual! This is high tech and awesome wireless.

Best detector on the market!
You think the F75's, T2's and AT Pro's are fast, you can set the XP Deus's reactivity on 0 which is the lowest setting and it is still faster than any of these!!!! Some people say it does not get good depth which honestly if your just running factory preset programs the majority of them are designed for iron infested areas so there for you will not get superior depth unless your in the relic program. BUT, there are plenty of custom set ups that will make the XP Deus a deep seeking machine very comparable to the Etrac!
It is light weight, wireless, easy to travel with and with the options that XP are working on like the waterproof kit, downloadable upgrades and new coils the XP Deus Metal Detector will be the ultimate all around metal detector to meet all of your Treasure Hunting needs. Once you buy the XP Deus Metal Detector you will not have to worry about trading it in for a new detector because all you have to do is download the newest version from your computer to the XP Deus remote and instantly you have a NEW Detector, also the brains of the XP Deus is in its Coils, so if you have the stock coil and the 11" DD coil you basically have two seperate metal detectors. This is why Treasure Mountain Detectors has to say the XP DEUS Metal Detector is our Number 1 Metal Detector to have.

Ferrari of metal detectors
CONS: Display is not Color (this is trivial, but my only negative) The XP Deus WS5 is the Ferrari of metal detectors. It does have a learning curve... Requiring some study to fully appreciate. Performance wise it exceeds all the competition and completely rewrites the engineering design approach to metal detecting. It's just a real pleasure to use. The competition, here in the States, has to realize that the days of carrying a six pound box around, with wires everywhere are ending. Being the Ferrari of metal detectors it is expensive. It looks and feels expensive, but the performance is second to none. It's the best available...
I'm wondering what XP has planned next?

Explode the Myth
The clever bit is that the tuning to a specific frequency (I'm no electronics expert)is done via circuitry in the coil, the commands are sent via a wireless controller, and information is sent back from the coil with all the relevant information.
The electronics are so so fast, recovery is almost instantaneous from one target to the next, with out getting to technical the Deus come with nine pre-set factory settings, so you could use the machine straight out of the box with these settings (I would still ground balance factory settings as its so easy to do).
The nine pre sets are all fully tweakable to your own conditions, and you can put in your own programs, the machine is as complicated as you want to make it, the nine named programs can more or less be set up from one factory setting as all the adjustments can be made from the menu including changing the frequency.
The Dues also comes with wireless head phones which can control the coil similarly as the control box but giving less access to the functions that the control box has, hence in Europe you can buy two versions the full Monty with wireless headphones and control box, or the alternative is was is called the LITE version comes without the control box, and is a lot cheaper for it, personally I would buy either the full Monty or the coil and assembly and control box if I wanted to save money...
The Deus although it has four frequencies it can only operate one at a time, it has in its pre-sets a wet beach setting, but for those that hunt the beaches as I do they will know that single frequency VLF on wet sand is a big ask, and the Deus is no different, you can make it work by adjusting the sensitivity to such a degree you loose to depth.
For those that may want a machine that does it all, I have to say on wet salt sand the Deus is not good, on dry sand its fine.
The mere physical lightness of this machine and its ergonomic design, the fast electronics, and the general performance, sets this machine apart, I love it. After using big heavy machines that are on the market, the Deus is a breath of fresh air, there is nothing out there similar, other manufacturers will have to follow, a bench mark has been set XP.

Dues - King of hammered coinage
The one thing I will say about this detector the recovery speed is amazing. It will sniff right in between nails and junk and pick out the good stuff. I returned to a site that was grid walked several times over with a host of detectors, including a tesoro, a minelab x-terra and a minelab safari. it picked out hammered coins left right and centre. It has no problem finding the tiniest of objects either.
It has a problem with deep large iron and I know some people are complaining about it, but any detector running on 18 khz has the same problem. It used to drive my x-terra mad too. The easy solution is to go to settings and lower the frequency to 4khz. if the sound goes, it's deep iron.
The other thing to get used to is if you come across a small deep target it will not give a number ID. It will just give you a faint blip - but you will get used to those sounds very quickly. You really need to use your ears.
Other great things about the deus is the weight, ease of use, the backlit screen (my safari had none!) and it also has a build in clock - very handy. I don't think this detector would suit outside of Europe, to me this is really a detector for finding hammered/roman coins - especially in iron infested sites.
This is my fifth detector and the best I have owned. Pricey? Probably - but certainly worth it.
