Better than the explorer
October 13, 2007
Tested against Explorer two ,and tesoro eldorado, and nexus , silver sixpence 1820, buried 12 inches in grassed over chalky soil, cooper cartwheell penny buried 8 inches, tesoro picked up cartwheel penny but not the silver coin, explorer two picked up cartwheell penny ,not the silver untill I put the 18 inch coil on then I got a signal.
The ureaka gold gave me good signals on both cooper and silver, frequency set at 60.
I am still learning to drive the nexus, but that to gave me signals on both coins.
I rate the ureaka as a good coin and artifact finder

It finds the gold
January 04, 2005
This is not a turn on and go machine, it takes
practice to get where your finding the nuggets. This machine will find
them, and the automatic tracking is
by far the best feature. After reading the manual, practing on a 1 grain
nugget for 2 hours hidden at
different depths, by my wife, you can detect it 4" deep and with a amp down
even further. A 4.2 grain at
about 10". I'm wondering what a 1oz. will sound like when I find it. With
this detector I think I've got a
chance to do it.

What more proof do you need ?
December 21, 2004
Friend who has prospected
for 30 years with limited success, took his New Minelab Eureka Gold to a
heavily detected mine site and
found three nuggets, 8.5 oz, 2 oz and 1 oz in an area that had been gone
over many times by others. I
saw the proof, I'm sold.
