I have only had this for 2 weeks but I like it better than the DFX. For
those people that are good with the DFX it may be a good call. I don't
recomend it for one just starting out. If simple is what is desired then
this is not ideal. It is the only detector that I ever used that shows what
every frequency is doing in color (lots of info at once on screen). It does
find deep targets and id them well once ya learn how to interpret all the
info on screen. Like the DFX it will be a useless noise maker if one
doesn't know what they are adjusting. I HIGHLY recomend reading the manual cover to cover. I found lots of things this can do that I wouldn't have found exploring the menus. The menu system is not bad. most changes can be made and auto saved without entering menu mode. I like it complex and this is turning out to be my favorite detector. I also like the wireless headphones even though the price seems a bit high at $250 if not purchased with the detector.
